Panacea Chain Upgrade v2.3.0 Successfully Completed
On August 20, 2026, MediBloc successfully completed the major network upgrade of the Panacea chain to version v2.3.0. Through this upgrade, Panacea has transitioned to the Cosmos SDK v0.50 line, securing compatibility with CometBFT v0.38 and IBC-Go v8.
This upgrade strengthens the network’s security and operational stability while significantly reinforcing the foundation for integration with external chains. By modernizing the underlying protocol stack, MediBloc has established the technical groundwork for broader interoperability across the blockchain ecosystem—expanding the range of services and partners that Panacea can connect with going forward.

In Development: Blockchain-Based Medical Certificate Service
MediBloc is also advancing development of a new service that issues authenticity certificates for medical services in NFT format. In partnership with an ecosystem collaborator, the service will allow clinics to provide patients with verifiable, blockchain-based certificates for the medical services they receive—bringing a new layer of trust and transparency to the healthcare experience.
